Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina. I received my master’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and have been practicing in the field for over a decade. I have a diverse background that includes working in inpatient and outpatient settings, serving in clinical leadership roles within mental health organizations, providing supervision to associate level clinicians, and providing ongoing consultation, training, and support to clinicians, social workers, foster parents, and more! My experience includes working with various populations including children, teens, adults and family units as a whole.
I am certified with the NC Child Treatment Program to provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy to individuals ages 3-18. TF-CBT is used to reduce PTSD symptoms in children and adolescents by helping them to approach rather than avoid negative thoughts and feelings associated with traumatic events.
Over the years, I have developed a strong ability to truly connect with each and every one of my clients and provide them with what it takes to feel comfortable, valued, and heard. I believe in allowing everyone to be the expert in their own life while treating them with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. In our work together, we will process, collaborate, and create a treatment plan that meets your unique and specific needs.
